The CashBack Connecting Through Creativity team had a brilliant time working with young people at Middlefield Youth Hub, exploring different ways to express themselves through art. The group got creative with clay work, printmaking, painting, paper marbling, and festive crafts, making some fantastic Halloween and Christmas decorations along the way.

After making clay bowls, the group made some positive affirmations to put in them. For many, writing something good about themselves, and having to hear it, felt uncomfortable at first, but they pushed through and did an amazing job. It was great to watch their confidence grow.

A highlight was the totem etching activity, where each person designed symbols that reflected different sides of their personality and experiences. These pieces became a meaningful expression of their individual journeys. By the end of the project, the group had not only created incredible artwork but also built confidence and stronger connections with each other.
