When asked if they had had a good week, they pulled a face to say they hadn’t, then when asked if this session had improved their week they nodded “yes definitely” 

The CashBack Connecting Through Creativity team had a great time working with young people at SensationAll, using art to explore emotions and find positive ways to manage feelings and behaviours. Over the course of the project, we got stuck into loads of creative activities—printmaking, screen printing, clay work, spray painting, painting, and paper marbling—giving everyone a chance to experiment, express themselves, and most importantly, have fun! Through the sessions, we explored topics like confidence, relationships, and resilience, helping young people take positive risks and see that they have the tools to handle whatever comes their way. A highlight of the sessions were the amazing screen-printed t-shirts and graffiti-style tote bags the young people made— so much creativity on show!

The whole project was all about trying new things, getting messy, and discovering just how powerful creativity can be when it comes to understanding ourselves and our lives.
